Description

Duties and Responsibilities: •Assist in the year-end closing process of the subsidiaries •Create and designs reports and spreadsheets •Review and reconciles sister companies accounts •Examine accounting data for accuracy, suitability and documentation •Create and maintain a database to organize, collect and retrieve data into required reporting formats •Coordinate with the external auditor regarding the issuance of the annual statutory report and the audit report •Extract and interpret information from financial records •Control working capital of a business, ensuring debtors, creditors and stocks are maintained •Handle the accounting operations relevant to IH subsidiaries that provide services to their sister companies •Evaluate the cash flow report delivered by the subsidiaries, give comments. •Comment on the monthly financial report of the subsidiaries •Perform a periodic follow up on the accounting unit operations and activities •Coordinate with the external auditor concerning the quarterly reports (VAT and tax on salaries) to comply with regulations and file all necessary documentation •Participate in all phases of budget analysis and preparation. •Access to inventory for the purpose of inventory verification in accordance with the policy concerned. •Conduct some internal audit session for the system and propose corrective actions •Carry out physical count of inventory at frequencies determined by management and adapted to minimize discrepancies and variances •Responsible to monitor company results compared to Business Plan •Present analysis of the financial statements to senior management •Supervise the processing of the monthly closing phase •Initiate and control all the financial and accounting statements performed, such as: -Balance Sheets -Profit & Loss statement -Banks’ utilization -Consolidated Statements -Financial Statements by Business unit, branch, department,.. •Initiate and analyze following reports and other reports if needed: -Sales as opposed to forecast (Monthly, Semi-Annually, Annually) -Sales by branch (Monthly, Semi-Annually, Annually) -Sales by Family of Products (Monthly, Semi-Annually, Annually) -Cost by branch and by family of products. -Stock analyses -Etc….. •And any other statement or report, as deemed necessary.
